After the morning greeting to Lula, the union directors headed to the Sindepetro Union’s Paraná/Santa Catarina headquarters, where they defined the next steps in the petroleum workers’ struggle against the privatization of the Petrobras System. The general coordinator of FUP, Simão Zanardi, stressed that the Nation is passing through an extremely grave moment. The union leader warned that the situation is very critical because Petrobras was attacked and, with that, they dismantled an entire employment chain that existed in the country, bringing suffering and despair to the Brazilian people.
