Lula Livre Committees promote the 3rd joint effort for freedom for Lula

1. The Lula Livre Committees are promoting the 3rd joint effort for freedom for former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The action will begin next Saturday, July 27 and continue until Sunday the 28th, with the goal of intensifying the collection of signatures on a petition to reverse the conviction against the ex-president. During this weekend, committees  across the country began their activities. In Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, for example, a workshop was held to produce materials for this weekend's joint effort. 2. This Monday afternoon, July 22nd, the Lula Livre Vigil held a conversation circle about education. The debate featured Valter Jesus Leite, from the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST) Education Sector. The conversation circle took place after the “good afternoon President Lula” shout. 3. During the morning, the Lula Livre Vigil was visited by members of the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST) who had recently arrived from Venezuela. They participated in the customary “good morning, President Lula!” shout - a moment in which they show the importance of the Vigil resistance in defense of freedom for Lula. Afterwards, they facilitated a conversation circle on “internationalism and solidarity among people,” in which they told of their experiences in Venezuela and the social and political context of the neighboring country.
